You'll love our walnuts: Almost as much as we do |

Although our property has been in the family for many, many years, we have just recently decided to make farming a big part of our life. The walnut orchard was planted many, many decades ago and produces more than a ton of walnuts each year. The story from the family is that these trees were brought over from England when the family originally settled in America. While walnuts are our primary crop we also grow various fresh produce including apples and plums. Our nuts are pesticide-free and only organic fertilizer is used (if any). IMPORTANT HARVEST UPDATE The 2008 harvest has begun! Due to the extremely wet year Oregon has had, and our commitment to a natural product, our crop has been affected by the walnut husk fly. Therefore our harvest will be quite limited this year. We are also in the process of acquiring walnuts from other local sources that meet our standards. To ensure a bountiful harvest next year we will have to spray our trees next June. Be assured, we will utilize an organic and earth-friendly spray. Thank you for your patience and loyalty.
